Rebecca Skippen is a Registered Social Worker with extensive experience in supporting individuals, couples, families, children, and adolescents facing various challenges and stressors. She has expertise in addressing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, substance abuse issues, separation and divorce, relationship breakdowns, behavioral challenges, life transitions, and complex family dynamics.
Rebecca holds a Master’s degree in Social Work with a specialization in working with children and families and has extensive experience supporting families, couples, and individuals through various challenges and complexities. In her practice, Rebecca employs a range of therapeutic modalities, including Client-Centered Therapy (CCT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Motivational-Interviewing, and Holistic Therapy, with a particular focus on mindfulness and relaxation techniques. When working with families navigating relationship breakdowns, Rebecca integrates Play Therapy, Role Play Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy to foster positive parent-child relationships.
