Domestic Violence Counselling

purple abuse ribbon in hands

This service is appropriate for individuals who have behaved abusively in a relationship. The purpose of the domestic violence intervention program is to help reduce relationship and/or family conflict and stop abusive, violent and controlling behaviours. Participants are engaged in structured exercises and self-exploration to help them examine their beliefs and behaviours. Psycho-education is an important aspect of the program, where participants learn more appropriate ways to resolve family conflict that does not involve violence or threats.
