Jenna is a passionate, dedicated clinician known for her warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach. She believes in creating a safe and inclusive space where clients can feel comfortable, be themselves, and truly feel heard. With a keen ability to connect and build trusting therapeutic relationships quickly, Jenna’s goal is to empower her clients to navigate challenges, build resilience, and achieve their goals.
Jenna has extensive experience working with clients facing a wide range of circumstances, including; interpersonal trauma and life transitions, family crises and parent-child conflict, family violence, intimate partner violence (IPV), and coercive control, separation and divorce (including high-conflict situations), parenting support and gender identity exploration and LGBTQ2S+ support.
Jenna has spent nine years specializing in family violence within the child welfare sector, offering support to adult and child victims of IPV and coercive control. She also collaborates with parents to minimize the impact of IPV on children, heal family relationships, and foster strong attachments.
Jenna’s practice is rooted in trauma-informed, strengths-based principles, emphasizing the resilience and potential inherent in all individuals and families. She tailors her therapeutic approach to each client’s unique needs and goals, drawing on a multidimensional framework to support healing and growth. Jenna combines compassion and lightheartedness, often using humour to help clients navigate difficult circumstances and build on their strengths.
Jenna has more than a decade of experience working with children and adolescents, helping them express themselves, develop coping skills, and build resilience. She provides compassionate guidance to parents and caregivers, supporting them with: child behavioral challenges, strengthening parent/child relationships, self-harm and suicidal ideation, addictions and mental health concerns and gender identity exploration.
As a parent of two young children herself, Jenna deeply understands the joys and challenges of parenting. She is well-versed in fertility, maternal and postnatal care, infant and child development, and parental teaching and coaching. Jenna’s compassionate, practical support helps families build stronger connections and navigate parenting challenges with confidence.
Jenna is committed to equity-informed practice and strives to be an ally to those she supports. Her work extends beyond direct client care to educating and empowering others. She has collaborated with the Violence Against Women (VAW) sector on projects and training to help survivors and professionals understand the impacts of IPV and coercive control.
Jenna’s goal is to provide the guidance, support, and empowerment clients need to address concerns, overcome challenges, and begin to heal. Whether you are seeking help for yourself, your child, or your family, Jenna is here to walk alongside you with compassion, transparency, and unwavering support.
