Bio

Kimberly Capicotto is a dedicated and compassionate Registered Social Worker with extensive experience supporting children, youth, individuals, and families through a range of mental health challenges. She specializes in working with neurodivergent children and youth, including those with ADHD, autism, anxiety, trauma, and behavioural difficulties, and has strong expertise in helping families navigate separation, conflict, and systemic stressors.

Kimberly is skilled in supporting complex emotional and relational dynamics, offering a calm, collaborative approach grounded in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and client-centred care. She draws on a variety of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, behavioural therapy, play-based interventions, mindfulness, and family systems theory, to promote emotional regulation, skill-building, and healing.

With a background in day treatment, outpatient mental health, urgent response autism services, and family counselling, Kimberly works closely with caregivers to enhance parenting capacity, support attachment, and foster safe, connected relationships. She is deeply committed to advocacy, cultural humility, and empowering clients to build resilience and thrive.
