Bio

Laylah Bayyoud is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who works with children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating life’s challenges. She understands that reaching out for support can feel vulnerable and believes therapy should be a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported without judgment.

Laylah is committed to creating a warm and collaborative environment where clients can safely explore their experiences, strengthen self-understanding, and work toward meaningful and lasting change.

Laylah works with individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation challenges, behavioural concerns, and family conflict. She also has experience supporting individuals and families navigating ADHD-related concerns, parenting challenges, and difficulties within family dynamics. She recognizes that no two people are alike and takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to therapy, meeting clients where they are while helping them build practical coping tools and deeper emotional insight.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative, client-centred, and grounded in evidence-based practices. Laylah values the importance of the therapeutic relationship and believes healing and growth occur when clients feel safe, connected, and empowered. She strives to help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships while fostering resilience, self-compassion, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. When working with children and adolescents, she thoughtfully incorporates creativity, play-based interventions, and developmentally appropriate techniques to encourage emotional expression and engagement in the therapeutic process.

Laylah Bayyoud holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Laylah is registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) and practices in accordance with professional and ethical standards. She is passionate about supporting clients in building healthier relationships, increasing emotional well-being, and creating meaningful change in their lives.
